Opportunities are also available for engineering undergraduates in the Aircraft Design Office (ADO) as part of their degree studies.
The ADO offers:
  • A one-year or six-month undergraduate placements for sandwich courses (Unfortunately we are unable to offer shorter term positions due to the nature of the training and work involved)
  • Potential of sponsorship for final year(s) as well as a conditional job offer.
  • Opportunities to specialise in Structures, Stress, Systems, Avionics, Flight Dynamics and Test.
  • On-line applications and accompanying letter should be submitted by mid November.
  • This is the preferred graduate recruiting method, although outstanding graduates with appropriate specialisations will also be considered.
Our placements enable students to: apply knowledge, build a skill base, use projects as part of the final year's assessment, all of which helps focus and motivate students on their return to university.
