Aerostructures

Marshall Aerospace Aerostructures business offers
a complete design, manufacture, assembly and test solution, whilst providing specialised project
management of complex aerospace structures, assemblies and systems.
With all these core capabilities available on site at the Cambridge facility, Aerostructures
are able to react effectively and efficiently to market demands and changes.
Legacy programmes include the 3240 US Gallon 747-400ER fuel tanks and the 1950 US Gallon 777-200LR fuel tanks for Boeing Commercial Airplane Group (BCAG). This business stream has also recently been successful in securing a contract with Boeing Integrated Defence Systems (IDS) for the design and manufacture of the Auxiliary Fuel System (AFS) for the US Navy P8-A Multi Mission Maritime Aircraft (MMA). Each programme requires tailored Supply Chain Management and is looked after by an innovative and dedicated team consisting of project managers, commercial and design engineers.
Dynamic growth plans have resulted in significant capital investment in this business stream, expanding the range of capabilities available to new and existing customers. The recent acquisition of Slingsby Advanced Composites Ltd strengthens Marshall Aerospace’s position as one of the UK’s leading companies in the aerospace industry. Utilising the established engineering expertise of Marshall Aerospace, all products are developed with cost and weight efficiency as central to the design process.
