Australia
As the Engineering sub-contractor to Qantas Defence Services (QDS), Marshall Aerospace (MA) has supported the Royal Australian Air Force fleet of C-130H and
C-130J aircraft since 2000.
The MA Australia Engineering team is co-located with QDS at RAAF Base Richmond NSW and is responsible for providing all types of C-130 engineering support ranging from structural repair design, general technical and logistics support to comprehensive avionics modification upgrades. Whilst the Australian Office is largely autonomous in provision of support to QDS maintenance and the RAAF, they continue to have access to back-up C-130 specialist advice and resources from the Cambridge base when required.

Major projects undertaken by MA for the RAAF to date include: PA5401 Avionics Modification and Structural Upgrade, C-130H Through Life Support Study, Design of the C-130J Wing Turn Jig and Horizontal Stabiliser Transport Stand, Design of the Deployable Aeromedical Retrieval and Transport System (DARTS), Design and development of the C-130H Electrical Loads Analysis Database and C-130J Operational Loads Monitoring Modification.
