AVIATION SAFETY AND QUALITY POLICY

The management and personnel of Marshall of Cambridge Aerospace Limited, are committed to ensure SAFETY and CUSTOMER SATISFACTION through CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT.

This is achieved by the following key actions:

  • Implementing a proactive approach to identifying and managing risks associated with the products throughout their life cycle to ensure that products and services supplied by Marshall Aerospace present the lowest practicable risk of hazard to operators, the public, property and the environment;
  • Ensuring that the highest possible flight safety standards in design, products, services, reliability and operations are being maintained and recognising safety as a prime consideration at all times.
  • Applying human factors principles in Aircraft Maintenance.
  • Promoting a just culture and encouraging personnel to report maintenance related errors and incidents.
  • Maintaining an effective management system in accordance with EASA Part 21.J, Part 21.G, Part 145, Part 147, FAR 145 and other applicable airworthiness requirements, regulations and directives, ISO 9001:2001, AS 9100, TickIT and contractual customer requirements.
  • Recognising that compliance with procedures, quality standards and regulations is the duty of all personnel.
  • Recognising the need for all personnel to co-operate with both internal and external auditors
  • Utilising the existing experience and dedication of skilled teams throughout the Company to ensure customer satisfaction and conformance with the customer’s specified requirements;
  • Identifying methods which continually monitor and improve all systems and processes in order to enhance product quality, reduce the potential for error and reduce costs;
  • Creating, promoting and maintaining a Company-wide quality culture and awareness programme;
  • Providing the necessary resources, adequate training to personnel, suitable facilities and appropriate information in order to accomplish contracted activities;
  • Encouraging complete employee commitment by the provision of clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
