Marshall Aerospace has a grading structure comprises of Job Families (Management, Technical and Support). This grading structure assists the Company to achieve the Mission, Vision and Values through quality recruitment methods and effective Performance Management. The Company has an internal job evaluation procedure with a fully trained Job Evaluation Panel. All positions are allocated to a grade by applying 10 job factors.

Our grading framework and structure will provide an understanding of where employees’ roles fit in Marshall Aerospace, will establish clear career paths and show the potential for both promotion and lateral progression.

It allows a framework for other HR activities such as recruitment; performance management; learning and development and succession planning. It also provides a formal policy and procedure which is centrally controlled.
